Display Item Rate from Item Receipt Transactions through Pivot Reports

Answer:

When generating Pivot Reports from a Transaction Saved Search (Example: Transaction Type: Item Receipt); the Item Rate column does not display any values. An alternate solution is to set a formula expression within the Search Results tab to represent the Item Rate per line item in the transaction.            

1. Edit the Transaction Saved Search and add the formula expression representing the Item Rates under Results tab>Columns subtab>Field column :

-Formula (Currency) | Formula = {amount}/nullif({quantity},0) | Custom Label = Item Rate

2. Click the Pivot Report button and set the following:         

3. Under Row Dimensions, drag Date (or any field desired).   

4. Under Columns, drag the other fields including the Item Rate.      

5.Click Run Report button
