Display Custom Field in NetSuite for iPhone Without Modifying QuickView

If the Preferred Form for a Customer record is still undeployed (form version is prior to the enhancements made in NetSuite version 2010.2), the option to modify the QuickView of a form will not be available. An alternative is to create an upgraded form, modify the QuickView then set this to Form is Preferred (Configuring QuickViews: Configuring QuickViews for Non-Upgraded Forms (Answer ID: 21030)). However, there may be cases wherein the preferred form cannot be set to the deployed form. The alternative is to display the custom field in the Main tab. The steps are as follows. This example is aiming to display a custom Entity field in the iPhone app.

1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Entity Fields.
2. Edit the custom field that needs to be displayed in the iPhone App.
3. In the Display tab > set Subtab = Main.
4. Click Save.
