Purchase Order for Drop Ship/Special Order gets disassociated with Sales Order

Background of the Problem:

A Purchase Order for Drop Ship Items was created from a Sales Order. However the link between Sales Order and Purchase Order is now missing. Created From field is not showing in the form.


Possible Reason:

1. Compare the Items of the Sales Order and Purchase Order if the same. The usual reason for the missing link is that the items either on Purchase Order or Sales Order have changed.

2. Look for the line Item history if the item has been changed. To do this, click on the History link.
