Only the Role Column is Shown in Contacts subtab on Customer Record

The behavior occurs because there are no Quick Add fields defined in the preferred Contact Form. To fix this:

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms.
2. Click Edit for the preferred Contact Form
3. In the Fields tab > Main subtab, make sure that Quick Add checkbox = T for the following:

Name/ID
Job Title
Email
Phone

4. Click Save
5. Clear the browser's cache
6. Close the browser
7. Re-open the browser and log in to NetSuite

 

 

Note: An enhancement has been filed to have the ability to hide the Role Column in the Contact tab of a Customer record, Enhancement # 128597.
