Identify whether Custom Detail Report will route to Custom or Standard Summary Report

There are instances when a user who is viewing a custom Detail Report that is linked to a custom Summary Report experienced being transported to the Standard Summary report.

To identify if the user will be directed to the original custom report, or to the standard report, take note of the link on the detailed report. If the link for the summary is View Summary, user will be directed to the standard summary report. But if the user sees Back to Summary, user will go to the custom summary report it originated.

The following scenarios will help identify if the user will be directed to the original custom report, or to a standard report:

1.     Custom Summary Report > hit view detail > Custom Detail Report > hit back to summary > Custom Summary Report.

2.     Custom Summary Report > hit view detail > Custom Detail Report > click customize > hit preview > Custom Detail Report > hit back to summary > Custom Summary Report

3.     Custom Summary Report > hit view detail > Custom Detail Report > click customize > hit save > Custom Detail Report > hit view summary > Standard Summary Report

4.     Reports > Saved Reports > Custom Detail Report > hit view summary > Standard Summary Report
