There can be scenarios when sending Marketing Email Campaigns may be delayed.
As with other bulk processes in NetSuite, and with other cloud based softwares, the Marketing Campaigns may get affected by other activities in the system.
Execution of the campaign can be affected by scenarios such as:
- CSV Imports.
- Mass Updates in the database.
- Scheduled activity such as Reports/Searches/Alerts.
- High volume of recipients.
It is sound practice to account for delays when sending email campaigns and execute when there is as little activity as possible.
Enhancement 236522: Campaigns > Ability to track the exact time and date when a campaign email is sent – suggests the capability to give a timeframe on when the Email Campaigns will be sent.
