Adding a Sitemap .XML file in Google Web Master Tools results to an HTML Error

In Google Web Master Tools, user might get a Sitemap is HTML error when uploading an xml sitemap file. In this case, make sure that the site URL registered in the Web Master Tools is the primary domain under Setup > Site Builder > Set Up Web Site > Domains.
