1. Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Workflows > New.
2. Enter a workflow name.
3. Set the following fields:
- Record Type = Transaction
- Sub Types = Journal Entry
- Release Status = Released
- Context = User Interface
- Initiation = Event based
- On Create check box = True
- On Update check box = False
4. Click Save.
5. Click State 1 button > Actions tab > click New Action button.
6. Click Set Field Value link.
7. Set the following fields:
- Event Type = Create
- Context = User Interface
- Field = Approved
- Static Value radio button = True
- Checked box = must be left unchecked
11. Click Save.
Note: Enhancement 222785 - Transactions>Financial>Make Journal Entries - Option to have approved check box unchecked, has been logged to have this ability even without creating workflows.
