Set Estimate to Inactive

Inactivating Estimate functionality is not available in NetSuite yet. There is an existing Enhancement request #38201 - Create the functionality to make estimates inactive.

Workaround:

1. Create a custom field. Navigate to Transactions > Sales > Prepare Estimates.
2. At the top right corner, click on Customize and select New Body Field.
3. Select label (e.g. Activity), set Type = List/Record.
4. Select + sign on the right side of List/Record field. Set name. Set value as Active, hit Add and set another value as Inactive. Hit Save.
5. At Validation & Defaulting subtab, set Default Selection field to Active.
6. Hit Save & Apply to forms.

New field would appear on Custom subtab. Users can move it to the main section of a transaction form as per the steps below:
1. Navigate to Transactions > Sales > Prepare Estimates.
2. At the top right corner, click on Customize and select Customize Form.
3. Hit Move Elements Between Subtabs.
4. Locate newly added field on Custom subtab. From dropdown list select subtab (e.g. Main) you want this field to appear.
5. Hit Save.

Now you can filter Estimates according to this field. Follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Transactions > Sales > Prepare Estimates > List.
2. At the top left corner, click on Customize View.
3. Click on Available Filters subtab > select newly added field (e.g. Activity) and hit Add.
4. Hit Save.
