Inline Editing is Not Working in Choosing Inventory Item Type in Item List View

Scenario: User navigates to Lists > Accounting > Items. Inline Editing is turned on. Choose Inventory Item from the Type drop down. Notice that pencil icon is not visible on columns like Name, Display Name, Description and Tax Code. Problem is reproducible on both standard and custom views

Resolution: User needs to ensure that Enable Field Editing on Lists check box is marked on the preferred inventory part form being used. Detailed steps as follows:

1.    Navigate to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms. Edit the preferred inventory part form.

2.    Click Edit link beside the preferred form.

3.    Mark the Enable Field Editing on Lists check box.

4.    Hit Save.
