Unable to select Partner on the Name column on the Journal Entry line

By design, Partners with no Other Relationship cannot be selected on journal entry transactions. Enhancement #136103 has been logged to request for this feature to be available in the future.

 

As an alternate solution, add an Other Relationship, either vendor or customer, for the partner record:

1. Edit the Partner record.
2. On the Relationships tab, click the + button.
3. On the Other Relationships pop-up window, select the Type of relationship to be added to the Partner record.
4. Click Save.
