Transaction Search to replicate the Income Statement

Solution:
1. Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
2. Select Transaction
3. Under the Criteria tab, set the following filters:
 Account Type = is any of Income, Cost of Goods Sold, Expense, Other Income, Other Expense
 Period = (specific period)
 Posting = Yes
4. Under the Results tab, add/remove the fields as needed in addition to the Amount field
5. Under the Results tab, check the box for Show Totals.
6. Enter a name for the search
7. Save and Run
8. Run the Income Statement for the same period and the Amount should match

Notes: For One World, there might be a need to add the Subsidiary field in the Criteria tab and the select an appropriate option in the Consolidated Exchange Rate dropdown under the Results tab.

  1. I don't see "Income" as an option under the criteria Account Type.
