Printing More than 100 Invoices at a Time via Downloaded PDF Files

•         Currently printing of Invoices in batch can only be done for 100 invoices at a time

 

•         There is open Enhancement 145359 asking to increase the number of Invoices that can be printed in batch

 

•         As an Alternate Solution user can consider following two options: This will be useful for users that are willing to run all the batches of 100 invoices and save to PDF so that they can print all batches in one run outside of NetSuite.

1. Before starting the process of printing the invoices in batch go to Home > Set Preferences > General Tab > Defaults and set Download PDF Files = T
----This would need to be executed by all user who will be printing the invoices
--------Note: When finished with this task user will need to set this back to F if they want day to day printing of pdf's to be immediate

2. Now proceed to Transactions > Management > Print Checks and Forms > Invoices
-------Fill in all necessary fields in header area
-------Mark off your first 100 Invoices
-------Select Print
-----------Note: You will not be prompted to print immediately instead it will prompt you to save the PDF to your desktop
-----------Note: Consider creating a folder on your desktop that you will use to save all the batches in

3. Repeat step 2 until you have processed all invoices that need to be printed (ex. If you have 3000 invoices then you will repeat this step 30 times).

4. Once you have all your PDF files saved you can:
----A. Go to the folder were you saved all the PDF's
-----------Highlight them all, Press Right Click and Press the Print.
-----------This will queue them all up to the printer
-----------Note: It may be best to not run all 30 batches at a time, but instead maybe 5 to 10, this way if any paper jams occur you will not lose all

----B: Using Adobe (full version) investigate to see if there is a way to edit and combine the all of the PDF files or see if there is a way to start the printing of the multiple PDF files in one batch.
