Chart of Accounts Import > Update an Account > error: The field description contained more than the maximum number (60) of characters allowed.

The Description field on the Account record should contain up to 60 alphanumeric characters only. Spaces and other symbols are also counted.

Modify the CSV file and limit the description field to 60 characters only before doing another import. 

NOTE: Enhancement# 234892 has been filed to expand the limit of 60 characters on Account description.
