1. Using an Administrator role, navigate to Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Periods.
2. Open the link for the affected period.
3. In the Edit Accounting Period page, put a check mark in the Allow Non-G/L Changes box.
4. Click the Save button.
5. Open the Customer Refund.
6. Under the Apply tab, Credits subtab, click the link for the credit memo.
7. In the Credit Memo transaction page, click the Edit button.
8. Go to the Items tab, Apply subtab and remove the check mark for the Customer Refund.
9. Click the Save button.
10. Open the Customer Refund again and click the Edit button.
11. Click the Void button.
