System generates an unexpected error upon saving an Item Receipt of a Transfer Order with more than 1,000 serial numbers.

Scenario:

·        Create ItemReceipt for Transfer Order

·        Save the ItemReceipt

·        Prompt: An unexpected error has occurred

 

 

Findings:

·        Item Receipt from the Sales Order has more than 1,000 SerialNumbers upon saving

·        System generates an unexpected error upon saving anItem Receipt of a Transfer Order with more than 1,000 serial numbers

·        Enhancement#135267 has been filed to request for thelimit to be increased

 

AlternateSolution:

1.   Click on Receive button on the TransferOrder.

2.   Mark the Receivebutton under

3.   Change the quantity of the item up to 1,000 serial numbers

4.   Click on Inventory Detail button and removethe serial numbers in excess of 1,000

a.    As the Serial Numbers will be auto-populated in ItemReceipt with the values sourcing from the Transfer Order

5.   Click on Save button

6.    Perform steps 1-5 to create until all the items from the Transfer Orders are received
