Sales Order> Bill Serial item less than the quantity fulfilled> Save>"Notice: The total inventory detail quantity must be xx"

Problem:
Customer cannot invoice serial item when quantity is less than the quantity fulfilled
Set up> Company> Enable Features> Item & Inventory> Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management
1. Create sales order with serial inventory item
2. Approve and Fulfill all the quantity on sales order
3. Bill the sales order for less than the quantity fulfilled
Unable to invoice serial inventory item when quantity is less than the quantity fulfilled
Warning: Notice: The total inventory detail quantity must be 4.

Solution:
Customize the Invoice form and hide the Inventory details column
---Navigate to Set up> Customization> Transaction form> select Invoice form
---On Screen fields tab> Columns subtab> remove the check mark on Show box for inventory detail
---Save

When inventory detail is not available on the Invoice form, editing can be made on the Serialized Item line.
