Item Fulfillment via UPS> Shipping / Carrier tab> Ship To Notification Address Checkbox Missing

 

The Ship To Notification Addresses checkbox is used to notify the specified recipient that you are shipping the package.

There will be instances wherein even after selecting UPS as Shipping Carrier and a corresponding real-time rate UPS shipping item like UPS Ground, when you click on the Shipping or Carrier tab on the item fulfilment the Ship Notification Email Addresses checkbox is missing.

This happens when you have other carriers set up in NetSuite like FedEx at the same time the UPS real-time rate shipping item selected on the item fulfilment does not have a UPS real-time rate shipping item selected on the field right next to the Shipping Label Integration checkbox.

To correct this, follow the steps indicated below:

1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Shipping Items

2. Hit Edit on the UPS real-time rate shipping item e.g. UPS Ground

3. Make sure that Shipping Label Integration is also set to the same UPS real-time rate shipping item e.g. UPS Ground instead of a FedEx real-time rate shipping item.

4. Hit Save.

 

Note that on the item fulfilment page, each shipping carrier has different forms including fields that are available to it.

For FedEx, the following fields are available in the Carrier Tab:

·         Saturday Service checkbox

·         Saturday Pickup checkbox

·         FedEx ShipAlert

·         Future Ship Date

·         FedEx Signature Home Delivery checkbox

·         Home Delivery Type

·         Home Delivery Date

·         Delivery Instructions

For UPS, the following fields are available in the Carrier tab:

·         Saturday Delivery checkbox

·         Ship Notification Email Addresses checkbox

·         If notifications are undeliverable, please email checkbox

·         Email Message

·         3^rd Party Billing Account Number

·         3^rd Party Billing Zip

·         3^rd Party Billing Country

·         3^rd Party Billing Type
