Fixed Assets Management > Asset Split > Error: Asset split is available to assets with more than one (1) quantity.

If the asset cannot be split, an error message will show up saying that "Asset split is available to assets with more than one (1) quantity." upon selecting it in the Asset ID/Name field.

If the details do not populate, open the Asset record and check the following:

1. Asset Status - As mentioned in the Help Guide, asset split is allowed for assets that are not yet fully depreciated, or have not been disposed of, or are not defined as inactive on the asset record.

2. Quantity of the asset under the Maintenance tab is more than 1.
