There are three possible solutions for this scenario:
1. Re-run the Eliminate Intercompany Transactions using an administrator role.
2. Edit the custom role. Below are the steps:
a. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles. Edit the custom role.
b. Go to Permissions tab and then Transactions subtab.
c. Change the Level of Make Journal Entry to Full.
d. Save the custom role.
3. Delete the original intercompany elimination journal and do step number 1.
