The customer has the AdvancedInventory Management enabled (Setup>Company > Enabled Features >Itemsand Inventory>Inventory> AdvancedInventory Management), but wouldlike to assign a Preferred Stock Leveland Reorder Point through CSVImport.
The Import Job Status Page says"All records imported successfully". But the Preferred Stock Level and ReorderPoint were not updated on the Item Record. This will occur if Auto-Calculate Preferred Stock Level andAuto-Calculate Reorder Point werenot set to No on CSV Import.
1. Create a CSV Template with thefollowing
ItemInternal ID
Location
Preferred StockLevel
ReorderPoint
Auto-CalculatePreferred Stock Level
-------This column should be set to No
Auto-CalculateReorder Point
-------Thiscolumn should be set to No
2. Update the Preferred StockLevel and Reorder Point through CSV Import
Navigate to Setup > Import/Export >Import CSVRecords
Select Items on Import Type
Select the Record Type
Select thefile.
Click Next
Select Update on Data Handling
Click Next
Map the fields:
Internal ID = Item : Internal ID
Preferred Stock Level = Item Location 1 :Preferred Stock Level
Location = Item Locations 1 : Location
ReorderPoint = Item Locations 1 : Reorder Point
Auto-CalculatePreferred Stock Level
-------This column should be set to No
Auto-CalculateReorder Point
-------Thiscolumn should be set to No
3. Type the Import Map Name
4. Click Save & Run
