When trying to calculate the realtime rates for FedEx SmartPost shipping item and getting the error Could not calculate cost for the selected Realtime rate. SmartPost hub id in invalid, consider checking the following:
1. Validate that the FedEx Account Number entered in Setup > Accounting > Shipping is where the FedEx SmartPost was enabled into.
2. Ensure that the Default Hub ID found in Setup > Accounting > Shipping > select FedEx Account > FedEx SmartPost matches to what FedEx had provided.
3. Verify when the Anticipated Start Date is (when we can start using the services) as specified by FedEx.
Note: The steps mentioned above are shown on the Confirmation Email received from FedEx when we signed up for FedEx SmartPost® Services.
