User tries to login into NetSuite and receives the message "Your access to (Company Name) has been deactivated. Please contact the company's administrator to re-activate your access."

Scenario:

·        User has entity record (e.g. Employee, Customer) where Accesstab has:

·        Give Access = True

·        Roles listed (e.g. Administratorrole, Customer Center Role)

·        User tries to login into NetSuite but receives theerror prompt:

"Your access to (Company Name) has been deactivated. Please contact the company's administrator to re-activate your access"

Findings 1:

·        The entity record with Give Access = True has Inactive= True

Solution:

·        Edit the entity record

·        Set Inactive= False

·        Make sure that the record still has Access tab > Give Access = True and roles assigned

·        Save the record

Notes:

·        User should now be able to login without the errorin NetSuite

Findings 2:

·        There are instances when the email login is tagged to more than one entity record and one ofthese records has Give Access = Truebut has Inactive = True.

Solution:

·        Edit the inactive record

·        Set GiveAccess = False

·        Save the record

Notes:

·        User should now be able to login without the errorin NetSuite

·        This will incidentally free up the user license(for non-Customer Center roles) forAdministrator to assign to other users

·        User may still use the Employee record > Accesstab > History sub tab for auditof previously assigned roles for the inactive employee
