Shipments to Default to Insure Packages

To make your shipments using UPS/FedEx/USPS to default to insure packages, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Shipping.
2. Go to Preferences tab
3. Under Carrier Basics section, mark the checkbox for Insure Packages 
4. Click on Submit button.

 Please note that this is just the default value, if you decide to not insure the package eventually you can still change it on the Item Fulfillment. Under the Packages tab, just clear the checkbox for Declared Value for UPS shipments, for FedEX/USPS the name of the checkbox is Insured Value.
