Item Saved Search > Show all Serialized or Lot Numbered Items with Zero Quantity On Hand but has Non-zero Value

Here are the steps:

 

1. Navigate to Reports > New Search > Item. 

 

2. In the Criteria tab, add the following:

 

- Costing Method = is any of Lot Numbered, Serialized

- Type = is any of Inventory Item, Assembly/Bill of Materials

- Location on Hand - is 0 

 

3. Set Use Expressions = True, then add the following Criteria after the criteria in Step 2:

- Enter "("  in the Parens Column, set Location Total Value = is greater than 0.00, set And/Or column to "Or"

- Location Total Value = is less than 0.00, then enter ")" in the Parens Column 

 

4. In the Results tab, enter the following:

 

-Name

-Inventory Location

-Location On Hand

-Location Total Value 

 

5. Enter a different name for the search and click on Save and Run. 

 

Note: This search should now show you those items with zero quantity on hand on a particular location where the location total value is non-zero, which could be negative or positive total value.
