Identify the System-Generated Retained Earnings Account

1. Navigate to Reports > Financial > Balance Sheet > Customize Summary.

2. Navigate to Edit Layout.

3. Expand the Equity section.

4. Expand the Retained Earnings section.

5. Click on Retained Earnings (Account Section).

6. Under the Section tab, in the Description column, the name of the system-generated Retained Earnings account will be indicated.

NOTE:

The same process applies when determining the system-generated Cumulative Translation Adjustment Account.

1. Click on the Cumulative Translation Adjustment section.

2. Under the Section tab, in the Description column, the name of the system-generated Cumulative Translation Adjustment account will be indicated.
