Currently, the data source for sales orders can be seen in NetSuite through the sales order form. For bills, journal entries, invoices, etc., the source of data can be identified through a saved search:
1. Navigate to Transactions>Management>Saved Searches>New
2. Click on Transactions link
3. Under Criteria tab> Standard subtab
- Select Type (on the pop up select transaction e.g. Bill)
- Look for Source (on the pop up select if CSV, Web Services, Web, Customer Center)>click Done
4. Click on Results tab > Columns subtab
- Add Source
- Add other fields
5. Enter the name of the search
6. Click Save & Run
