The user cannot create or edit a Fixed Asset Record due to error "Notice (SuiteScript): Permission Violation: You need a higher permission for custom record type Default Alternate Depreciation to access this page. Please contact your account administrator". This error is being caused by the missing Default Alternate Depreciation Record Permission. To resolve the error: 1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles (Administrator). 2. Click on Edit or Customize link beside the role that is getting the notice. 3. Under Permissions tab > Custom Record sub tab > Add Default Alternate Depreciation = Full > Hit Done. 4. Hit Save.
