Display Customer Name on the Assembly Build Order Page

1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New.
2. Enter a Label.
3. Set the Type as Free Form Text
4. Uncheck the Store Value box.
5. Under the Applies To tab select Work Order / Assembly Build.
6. Under the Validation & Defaulting tab set the following fields: 

• Default Value is {appliedtotransaction.entity}
• Formula is Yes.

7. Click Save.

The custom field will populate with the customer name if the Assembly Build is created from a Work Order.

1. Navigate to Transactions > Manufacturing > Enter Work Orders.
2. Fill out the mandatory fields.
3. Select a value in the standard Customer field.
4. Click Save.
5. Click Create Build button.

Actual Result: In the New Assembly Build page, the customer name is carried over.
