This is an intended behaviour because Credit Card Numbers (as well as Social Security Numbers) are stored in NetSuite as AES encrypted values. Since formulas are translated to sql expression, there is no way to decrypt it when added as formula in saved searches.
However, adding the Credit Card Number field in the Results tab displays the Credit Card Number information. If View Credit Card Unencrypted is turned on, the search displays the full Credit Card Numbers. Otherwise, it displays only the last four digits of the Credit Card Numbers.
