Change Department, Class and Location on Time Entries via Mass Update


Note: Make sure Department, Class & Location feature is enabled via Setup > Company > Enable Features > Company.

Solution:

1. Navigate to List > Mass Update > Mass Updates
2. Click on General Updates
3. Select Time
4. On the Criteria tab: 

  • Add field Department and set description  is equal to Department 1
  • Add field Location and set description  is equal to Location 1
  • Add field Class and set description is equal to Class 1Z
5. On the Mass Update Fields tab: 
  • Check Department and set value equal to Department 2
  • Check Location and set value equal to Location 2
  • Check Class and set value equal to Class 2
6. Click Preview button
7. Click on Perform Update button
