Upload/Import Full Folders with Files to the File Cabinet

Problem:
Is there a way to import/upload full folders with files on them into the file cabinet?

 

Solution:

1. Create a .zip file containing the folders with files on them. The entire Main Folder should be a zipped file.

e.g.

Main Folder

Child Folder A

   File 1
   File 2

Child Folder B

   File 3
   File 4

 

2. Navigate to Documents > Files > File Cabinet.

3. Click Advanced Add button.

4. On the Advanced Add page, click on the Browse button and upload the zipped file.

5. Choose the Destination Folder of where you want to upload/import the folder to.

6. Set Unzip Files = T

7. Hit Add button.

 

Your files are automatically unzipped and appears in your File Cabinet folder.

You can upload any ZIP files to your file cabinet, but only zipped files are archived with these extensions which are automatically unzipped within the NetSuite application:

    * Unformatted (TXT) Text
    * XML
