The Expense Reports does not Show on the Approve Expense Reports on the Employee Center role

Scenario:

1. Lists > Relationships:

a. Employee 1 : Human Resource>the Expense Approver is Employee 2. This employee also has access to Employee Center role

b. Employee 2: also has access to Employee Center

2. Employee 1 creates an Expense Report using Employee Center role. The expense report should be for approval of Employee 2

3. Employee 2 logs in to Employee Center and navigates to Home Dashboard Approve Expense Report > The expense report created by Employee 1 does not show on this page.

Findings:

Expense Approver should be assigned to the employee record before the creation of the expense report.

Otherwise, the Approver (Employee 2) will not see the expense report on his dashboard

In such cases, the Expense Report needs to be edited and saved without any changes so that it maybe seen by the Expense approver using Employee Center role.
