Statement for Customers Who Ordered and Paid in Cash, Check or Credit Card

The ability to include all customers' activities including cash sales created from credit card transactions in the customer statements is currently logged under Enhancement Request #65512.

As an alternate solution, you may create a saved search pulling up the list of sales orders paid via credit card, cash or check.

1. Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New  / Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New

2. Choose Type = Transaction.
3. Name the search.
4. In the Criteria tab > Standard subtab, add the following filters:

  • Type = Sales Order
  • Main Line = T
  • Name = Set this to a specific customer
  • Status = Sales Order : Billed

5. In the Results tab > Columns subtab, add the following fields:

  • Date
  • Type
  • Number
  • Amount
  • Amount Unbilled (Rename this column to Balance Due)
  • Status (optional)
  • Date Closed (Rename this column to Date Paid)
  • Payment Method

6. Preview/Save the search.

The list displays all billed orders that were paid through cash, check or credit card for the specific customer. Users can then opt to print or email this to the customer as a statement.

NOTE: Users can remove the Status filter if they want to pull up those sales orders already billed but are still in Pending Fulfillment status (if Invoice in Advance of Fulfillment accounting preference is enabled). Amount Unbilled filter should be used instead and set it to equal to 0.00.
