Inactivate all the NetSuite Website tabs
1. Navigate to Lists > Website > Tabs.
2. At the bottom of the page, check the Show Inactives checkbox.
3. Check the Inactive checkbox for all the tabs.
4. At the bottom of the page, click Submit.
Remove the domains set up in NetSuite
1. Navigate to Setup > Site Builder > Domains.
2. Select the domains previously set up in Netsuite and click Remove.
3. Click Save.
Create a custom page for the webstore homepage
1. Create a blank html page. In this html page, you can create a custom page and enter a meta redirect to your new domain.
Note: This is for the NetSuite website links which are still cached in Google even after you inactivate the website tabs and remove the domain in NetSuite. When a user clicks on these cached links, they will still be taken to the NetSuite homepage. This is why a hosted page needs to be set up so that when a user clicks on these links, they will be taken to the hosted page which will redirect to your new website.
2. Navigate to Documents > Files > File Cabinet.
3. Click on the Web Site Hosting Files > Live Hosting Files Folder.
4. Click the Add File button at the lower left corner of the page. Select the html file you created and upload it in the File Cabinet.
5. Navigate to Setup > Site Builder > Setup Website.
6. In the Setup tab, Web Site Basics section, remove the contents of the http://shopping.netsuite.com/ field.
7. In the Home Page section, Web Site Home Page Type field, select Hosted Web Page. In the Web Site Home Page field, select the html file you just uploaded.
8. Click Save.
