Set the Forecast Type of Opportunities to Omitted through CSV Import

When importing Opportunity transactions, Forecast Type 'Omitted'  is one of the options in the Provide Default Value dropdown field. However, selecting this value will result to the following message:

"One or more of your fields or the NetSuite fields have not been mapped on the mapping panel.

Required NetSuite fields must be mapped in order to proceed with import.

Other fields must either be mapped or be removed from the mapping panel."

To set the Forecast Type to 'Omitted', Set Value to Null must be marked.

1. Navigate to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records.
2. Select Transactions for Import Type.
3. Select Opportunity for Record Type.
4. Click the Select button to upload your CSV file.
5. Click Next.
6. Choose Data Handling for Import.

  Add: Select this option if all imported records are new to NetSuite.

  Update: Select this option if all imported records already exist in NetSuite, and the import is intended to modify these records.

  Add or Update: Select this option if imported records are a mixture of new and existing records. Click Next.

7.    Click Next.
8.    Map the fields from the CSV file with NetSuite Fields.
9.    For the Forecast Type field, click Edit (Pencil Icon) and mark Set Value to Null.
10.    Click Next.
11.    Enter an Import Map Name.
12.    Click Save & Run.
