Real-time Rate does not seem to be working for USPS Priority Mail. The calculated shipping cost does not change regardless of item weight or location.

When user enters a Sales Order using USPS Priority Mail, the calculated cost remains to be the same regardless of the quantity of the entered item or change of the ship to address.

A possible cause for this is the default package type for USPS Packaging. This preference can be found in Setup > Accounting > Shipping > Preferences tab. Large Flat Rate Box may have been selected as the Default Package Type for USPS Packaging. To resolve, remove the default USPS Packaging, set the field to blank, and click submit to save the changes.  The shipping cost should no longer be fixed.

Note: NetSuite supports flat rate packaging for shipping with United State Postal Service (USPS). USPS Flat Rates packaging options are only available to Express Mail and Priority Mail Services.
