Outlook Integration v2.0 > Contact Synch Generates Search operation returned INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSION

The administrator turned off the Projects feature from Set Up > Company > Enable Features > Company Tab > Projects. After this has been done, the users with a custom role are no longer able to synch contacts and gets the Permission Violation: You need the Lists > Jobs permission to access this page. Pls contact your account administrator. Note that All other records synch as expected.

The solution is to add the Jobs permission to the role.

1. Navigate to Set Up > Company > Enable Features > Company Tab > Enable Projects > Save.
2. Navigate to Set Up > User/Roles > Manage Roles > Edit the Custom Role > Permissions > Lists > Add Jobs = View > Save.
3. The user performs a test synch to any contact record.
4. The proceed in disabling the Projects feature by going back to Set Up > Company > Enable Features > Company Tab > Disable Projects feature
5. Click Save.
