Note: American Express CID is only supported if amerchant is registered for this service with Amex. If not registered, thegateway will ignore the CID request and send for authorization only. A value ofP (not processed) will be returned.
| Code | Description |
| M | CVV2/CVC2 /Discover CID – Match. |
| N | CVV2/CVC2/Discover CID – No Match. |
| P | Not Processed. |
| S | Merchant has indicated that Verification Code is not present on card. |
| U | Issuer is not certified and/or has not provided Visa encryption keys. |
