How to generate Sales Report for Gift Certificates Sold?

Answer/Solution:

1. Navigate to Reports > New Report.

2. Click Transactions link

 

3. Set the following on the available fields:
o Metric = Amount
o Format = Summary
o Component = Item
o Field = Name

4. Assign a title for the report.

5. Click on the More Customization button.

6. In the Edit Columns page, add the following fields:
o Item: Name
o Transactions: Transaction Type: Long Name
o Transactions: Transaction Number
o Transactions: Customer/Job: Name (Grouped)
o Transactions: Quantity
o Transactions: Amount

7. Add the following as filters in Filters page:
o Item: Item Type = GiftCert
o Transactions: Amount > greater than >  0.00

8. Click Preview or Save button.
