The user wants to have a Help field in the Time Tracking form to provide the users additional note on how to fill out the form. Since Time Track form does not have this field by default, an option is to create a custom field for the same purpose.
1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Line Fields > New.
2. Enter a Label > e.g. Help Field
3. Set Type = Free-Form Text or Text Area
Please refer to Custom Field Types for more information about different field types.
4. Check the box for Store Value.
5. Under Applies To tab, check the box for Time.
6. Under Display tab, users can enter the information that will serve as Help in the Help field.
7. Under Validation & Defaulting tab > Default Value > enter anything that describes the field.
8. Click Save.
Edit the Time Track form by navigating to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms > click Edit on preferred Time Tracking form > under Fields tab > set the Display Type to Inline Text for the custom field you just created.
