Symptoms/Details of Business Requirements/Any Additional Information:
• Users expect for all price levels to show for all his items when Assigned Price Levels = False.
• The price list shows a price, but only one price per item.
• In Field Level Help it says that:
Assigned Price Levels Only = Check this box to show only the price levels set for the customer. Clear this box to show all price levels.
* In this explanation, if Assigned Price Level = False, it says that the price list will show all price levels, so then user expect to see all price levels.
Solution/Workaround/Gotcha/Recommendation Details:
Right now this is how NetSuite behaves, if Assigned Price Level only is:
True= Price list will show the prices for items where the assigned price level (customer record) has an amount.
False= Price list will show the Base Price of "all items" except for items where the assigned price level has an amount (General Price Level or Item Pricing in the customer record). *This means that if the price level on the item record has no amount, the price list will show the item's base price. In other words, if the assigned price level is blank, the list will show the base price.
* Clearing the checkbox does not mean that all price levels will show.
