Set a Default Language for a Webstore Customer


This solution helps the web store owner to set a default language for the customer if they are using the Multi-Language feature.

A new custom entity field can also be created which appears at the New Customer Registration page so that the customer can indicate their preferred language for the web store.

To set a default language for customer:

1. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers or look for a specific customer on the Global Search.

2. Edit the customer record.

3. Click the Preferences tab.

3. On the Language dropdown field, select the language that the customer prefers.

4. Click Save.

When the customer logs into the webstore, the language is defaulted to the one selected.
