Note: This solution applies to forms with Printing Type set to Basic.
The Barcode field prints in the footer section of the transaction PDF layout. There is no way to move this field to another section (e.g. Header or Body). The standard barcode element on the PDF Layout can be positioned near the Header or the Body section of a single page invoice. However, when printing invoices with multiple pages, the barcode still prints on the last page. To resolve this, perform the following steps:
1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.
2. Edit the preferred Invoice form.
3. Click the Printing Fields tab > Footer subtab.
4. Uncheck Print/Email for the Barcode field.
5. Click Save.
6. Navigate to Customization > Form > Transaction Form PDF Layouts.
7. Edit the preferred Transaction PDF Layout.
8. Click Add Custom Element.
9. In the Add Custom Element window, type {tranid} in the Element Text box.
10. Click OK.
11. Click the custom element field created.
12. In the Editor, select Bar Code in the Element Data Style section.
13. In the Editor, set the position of the field in the Element Position section.
14. In the Editor, check Show on Addl. Pages in the Additional Options section.
15. Click Save.
