Inventory Valuation Report > Items Show in the Unassigned Section

Problem: Inventory Valuation report > Items show in the Unassigned section

Solution:

The Unassigned section on the InventoryValuation report shows Items that doesn't have values as of the Date youhave indicated on the report.

 

For example:

1. Receive Item A on October 15, 2010(This is the first transaction for the Item).

2. Run the Inventory Valuation report as of September30, 2010. Note that the Item shows under the Unassigned section.

3. Run the Inventory Valuation report as of October31, 2010. Note that the Item no longer show under the Unassignedsection.
