Email or Fax Option is Not Available on Transactions

If the user's role has the proper permission but can not see the Fax or Email button, then the problem is caused by the form. The Messages subtab is not displayed on the form. To customize the form, perform the following steps:

     1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.
     
     2. Edit the form used for the record.
     
     3. In the Tabs tab, check Show for Communication.
     
     4. In the Screen Fields tab >
Communication:Messages sub tab, check Show for To be E-mailed and To be Faxed.
     
     5. In Lists tab > Messages sub tab, check Show for
Communication:Messages.
     
     6. Click Save.
