Unlike, FedEx and UPS, USPS ships to US Virgin Island domestically. User will first need to add this location to the States/Provinces/Counties list before ther real-time rate calculation and shipping label integration.
Since NetSuite lists Virgin Island as a country not as a US state, user needs to add Virgin Islands as a US state. To add, perform the following:
- Navigate to Setup > Company > States/Provinces/Counties > New. Enter the following values:
- Country : United States
- Full Name : Virgin Islands
- Short Name :VI
- Change the destination address to:
- State/Province = Virgin Islands
- Country = United States
Note: Since USPS considers Virgin Islands as a US state, domestic shipping items apply (USPS Express Mail®, Priority Mail®, Parcel Post® and Media Mail®)
