With Multi-Location Inventory feature enabled, if users customize the Inventory Valuation Report or Inventory Profitability Report to show average cost, some items on the report bears no average cost but drilling down to item records reveal otherwise.
That being the case, consider the following:
1. When the Multi-Location Inventory feature is enabled, Average Cost is displayed only for the item's preferred location.
2. If there is no preferred location defined for an item, the average cost displayed on the report is blank or zero.
3. To pass upon the issue, the item must be assigned with a preferred location:
o Edit the item record
o Locate the Inventory tab
