There are two possible cause of this:
- Form used for the import
- Display type of the custom field
To check the form, perform the following steps:
1. Navigate to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records.
2. Select the Import Type.
3. Select the Record Type.
4. Click Select.
5. Locate the CSV file then click Open.
6. Click Next.
7. Select Data Handling.
8. Expand Advanced Options.
9. In the Custom Form field, select the form where the custom field is set to Show.
Note: This is important. The available fields in NetSuite Fields is dictated by the form selected on this field.
10. Click Next.
11. Verify if the custom field appears under NetSuite Fields (Customer Folder).
12. Proceed with the rest of the steps in the Import Assistant.
If the field is still not showing, check the Display Type set to the field or form. To check the field, perform the steps below:
1. Navigate to Setup > Customization > Field Type (e.g. Entity Fields).
2. Edit the custom field.
3. Click the Display tab.
4. Set Display Type to Normal.
5. Click Save and Apply to Forms.
6. Make sure that Display Type of the selected form is set to Normal.
7. Click Save.
