To create a duplicate Employee record inNetSuite, perform the following steps:
1. Navigate to Lists > Employees > Employees > New
2. Enter a name already existing in NetSuite and a message will bedisplayed:
There is already an employee with external access to this account usingthat entity name. All employees with external access must have a unique entityname for login purposes. Go back, change theentity name and resubmit.
3. Click the Link on the message and enter the name of the employee butuse different capitalization. For example, instead of John Greene, enter, johngreene
4. Click Save.
Note: If customer is using Auto-Generated Numbers for their employeerecords and there are employees with the same name, we suggest that we add a MiddleInitial or a character in the name to give distinction between the twoor among existing records.
